I had zero issue with pedestrians. Actually, not one person passed me, either - altogether I think I encountered fifteen people on the east side of the Schuylkill. Maybe it was my time of day? I seriously did have the wind in my face for three+ miles. So you've made that trek? How is it? Was I just crazy naive thinking I'd get further than I did?
My seat's horrible, sure, but the dizziness can't be explained with that.
(I feel better now!) And re: stocking up - it gave me an excuse to buy a sweet gadget. We used those in the Army - perfect for riding - almost hands free.

Hmm, I never thought of stocking up for that ride... usually the biggest issue I have is the crazy human-traffic-jam around the crewing spots. ARG. It could be such a great ride, but I hate dodging all the three-by pedestrians!

Hey! You're right on all counts re my lack of research. Christina even told me bellydancing was listed as entertainment, but not for that night. Overall, it was very good if you're into the middle eastern foods.

Even as a bellydancer, I have to say the few times that I have seen Egyptian style dancers at restaurants I've found it slightly awkward. Particularly when there is no stage and they just walk between tables, making forced eye contact. And yes, the zills are hell. When well played, they accent the music. Unfortunately your average dancer usually just clangs away at every beat, not so subtle.
Though to be fair, their website has photos of a dancer, and they say "Live entertainment with belly dancer on every friday, and saturdays" which usually extends to big holidays, like V-day.

Anton sagt, alles Frische sei so teuer.... :D

<a href="#comment-4" rel="nofollow">@ Keith</a>
You know, leave it to me to write an entry about food - and say nothing about what it tastes like.
I used 1/4 cup of honey, adding that to the mango makes the concoction sweet with a bite. Not too much of either. Christina tried it, and hesitates to answer.
Personally, I do like it. Just wish it weren't like salsa.
That said, I think I'll use it on chips tomorrow. :)

Excellent post! Did the sauce turn out more hot or more sweet? I see your ingredients include honey as well as onion, and I was wondering if the onions were regular or sweet vidalia. Whatcha gonna put it on?

Actually, neither. Or, your suggestions are my current mantra - I shave every other day, and use a fresh blade every other time.
I still butcher my face with a fresh blade. Maybe I'm too hurried. Also, I'm not sure if a Safety Razor is the right thing to use "blindly".
I've used the Ensemble (from The Art Of Shaving) since I got it for christmas. It is pretty awesome, other than that whole pain and blood thing.
Eh, practice, practice, oh I'm dizzy. :P
